About the Images on this Site

The images on this site are relatively low-resolution scans of original slides or negatives. (A few are low-resolution conversions from Kodak PhotoCDs.) They were then converted into JPEGs and compressed to speed up download times. Furthermore, due to variations in monitors, they may not appear on your monitor as they do on mine. Consequently, these images should not be used to judge the actual quality of the original slide or negative, but should only be used to determine general presentation.
